Autumn desserts, pumpkin!

In Japanese pastry (Wagashi), using distinctive seasonal ingredients is very important.Typical ingredients for autumn desserts would be chestnuts, sweet potatoes and pumpkins.

Here at Fous Desserts, we can find some pumpkin desserts for an afternoon tea in autumn. In the series of Anpan, there’s pumpkin anpan (brioche filled with pumpkin paste). Pumpkin pie with Tonka beans would be a great Halloween dessert. Soothing toasty Hojicha would accompany both of them perfectly. Do you know that Hojicha makes a good tea latte?
